Electronics Design

VertroTech’s engineering team have a wide experience of electronics design and development across a number of industries. We have worked with start-ups and small businesses, academic research departments and large corporations, many of which had little or no internal electronic resources of their own. As a result, we are very experienced at taking customer ideas and requirements and turning them into product specifications and finished designs.

We carry out schematic capture, circuit analysis, and multi-layer, high-speed PCB design and layout,  We have specific knowledge and experience of low power RF devices for use in wireless networks, having designed several battery-powered IoT (Internet of Things) smart devices.

Our team have deep knowledge and understanding of designing products to meet EMC and safety standards. We also have experience of designing and approving electronic products for use in rail trackside applications, vehicle-mounted telemetry systems and products used in hazardous areas (ATEX and IECEx).

Documentation and attention to detail are critical to getting robust and reliable designs ‘right first time’. VertroTech are experts in documentation systems, CAD library management, design for manufacture, and obsolescence protection.
